Ww, thank you. It was a fantastic week for birds. The loons...at least three of them, even gave us a very, very loud concert one night, right in front of the camp. They can sure make a lot of noise.
Jeffro, thanks!
Lisa, thank you. You will get it figured out and when you do I know you will do great things. That is a pretty fantastic camera and you already have a good eye
Steve, thank you. How I wish I could. I could live the whole summer there by the lake, but alas, those ugly responsibilities rear their little heads...
Mom, Matt got us quite close and the camera did the rest. It has quite a lot of zoom. We love the lake too and it was wonderful to have you folks come visit. Becky got some really nice shots of Jason
NW, Alan saw three of them! They are getting much more common. If you click on the photo you can see that this one has two bands, so it has been handled.. Thanks
Nita, thanks, I had great fun with the camera up there. Took pics pretty much every day.
LInda, thanks, I have looked for years and years...seen lots of loons, although I never get tired of seeing them, but never a chick. Just days before I was talking to a good friend who had photographed a couple up on another Adirondack lake and lamenting never having the chance. I have the pic as my desktop so I can look at it every day. lol
Remarkable! Your week at camp sure yielded ornithological gold.
ReplyDeleteThose are great! I could not get mine to do that! I was really disappointed! but yours are just great!
