Could We Have

Male bobolink in fall plumage

Indigo bunting singing in the sweet corn

An almost wordless Tuesday? Much to do and never enough time, so I will leave you with a couple of bird pics I took the other day when I was working on Sunday Stills.

  2. Love the way you know the names of the birds you capture so well.

  3. Lisa, thanks, glad Matt will be home. If you have a lot of extra I will freeze some, but don't put yourselves short. Thanks

Faithful, thanks! Actually I had to spend quite a lot of time online and with my field guides to identify the bobolinks in off season plumage. They change a lot!!! If you want to hear the song of just about any American song bird, just go to whatbird.com and find the one you want in the search box. I use that all the time in my ongoing effort to educate myself as to bird calls. There are so many to learn...lol

  6. Oh sweet! I want a bobolink so bad:-)

I'm headed to central Ohio this weekend and hope to see one before they head south.

Are yours still singing or am I too late for that?

  7. CTG, we are so lucky that they are all around us...I was just walking down the hill and these guys were right there for me. lol

Dani, wish you could really see them!

Cathy, these were such a bonus on my graffiti trip. No singing here that I heard, just random calls. Good luck with yours.
