Northview Diary: First Day on the New Feet
First Day on the New Feet
Pecan had a new baby girl this morning. First day on the new feet, first breakfast, second breakfast, nuncheon, high tea......
My experience has been only with puppies and kittens. I'm always amazed at how advanced calves are from the first day.

LOL. I guess that's why a cow's got so many teets and udder chambers!
Jan, they are amazing aren't they and little Sabael seems exceptionally so.,..grazing a couple of hours after she was born.
ReplyDeleteCloe, thanks!
Matt, she is, thanks...and such a nice surprise to get a girl as she was very late.
Linda, me too and this one was really precocious!
Dani, she is very, very welcome to our world.
Teri, I am so pleased that she is a girl. Mama was very late so we were expecting a bull
Joated, she sure wasn't hungry when we brought her down last night. lol
I never get tired of these pix, 3C. Tks.
ReplyDeleteAny ideas for a name yet? Something else from the nut family, perhaps?
How cool! Congrats!!
