Snow Last Night

In October...somebody call the global warming people...oh, but they are not calling it that any more are they? Because it is so hard to convince folks that things are warming up when it snows a month early in a warm spot like here on the river.

It didn't snow much mind you, but I went out in the rain with a flashlight and some of the rain drops were swirling in slow spirals instead of splashing straight down. That is snow where I come from.

  6. Got a few flakes here in the southwest Adirondack Park, but nothing on the ground despite the 25 degree overnight low tempreature. And now they're saying it will be close to 70 next week. Weather can be so damn fickle sometimes!

  7. Not yet! I was just starting to enjoy the Fall Season. It is nice to have four seasons. Sometimes they rush each other a bit.

  9. Lisa, not too much here, but Alan said it was sticking over in Coby. Gone now I am sure

    CTG, me either!

Linda, seemed perfectly sensible to me...it didn't stick at least

Rev. Paul, I would like that! Yes I would indeed
    Thanks!

Linda, it was supposed to warm up a bit today, but it didn't much

Joated, I think we are due for a bit of INdian summer

Paul, up here they seem to blend and mix like ice cream in a blender. Summer one day, winter the next and back again in a blink. Never dull

Sara, it just isn't right. At least it didn't last
