The Border Collie Dilemma

Seems to have been solved without any decision on my part. The female broke out of her run at her home and went and found her own boyfriend.

I had thought about your dilemma, but I didn't consider that solution!

  2. We had an English Mastiff that ran away with her Chocolate Lab suitor while she was in heat, but we were able to get her a "morning after" pill to prevent a houseful of huge mixed-breed puppies. Our vet did not want to spay her until she had gone through several heats, believing that the estrogen was necessary for bone development. Believe me, that was NO fun, with dogs from miles away camped by our front door, sexually assaulting our children when they tried to walk to school. Then our mastiff got hip dysplasia anyway and had to be put down because she couldn't walk.

  7. They waited too long...she was tired of the whole drama and took matters into her own paws.

  8. Joated, guess so...kind of a relief I guess

NYV, exactly..I feel let off the hook in a big way

Linda, she did indeed. I hate to think of what will be with the resulting pups...not much I can do about it though. I don't really know the man.
