Sunday Stills...Holiday Decorations

We barely have any Christmas decorating done this year, so these were pulled out of the china closet for their close up.

For more Sunday Stills....

  1. Same Here.
The tree didn't get decorated until a day ago and the outside lights consist of just a doorway bit of trim.
    Empty nest syndrome I guess.

  6. I'm in the same boat......I haven't done much at all but I like the idea of a macro....maybe I'll go do it now. Thanks for the inspiration.

  7. Very nice shot; I also like the photos in your posts below, lovely sunset colors, and the one of the apples with the reflection is good. I'm doing the same kind of Christmas "shopping" this year.

  8. FC, I think you have the right of it. And busy...fall went by like a rocket...if you blinked it was gone.

RG, thanks, maybe we will get some stuff out today. lol

    Lori, thank you so much

dibear, thank you, I love macros.

    Ed, thanks

Linda, thanks, I know yours will be fantastic

Shirley, thank you for your kind words. I think a lot of folks are shopping in the kitchen instead of the mall and I like it just fine.

OE, thanks, the lacy ornaments were my grandma's and I am fond of them.

  9. I love that fact that those are your Grandma's ornaments. Sometimes it's almost painful lifting ornaments out of that box every year around this time.

Lots of emotional freight attached to a few.

  10. Beautiful ornaments! They look old. I just read your comments so they ARE old.

    Just lovely!

  12. Cathy, that is so true. A box of family ornaments is like a time capsule that you open every winter...it can be very poignant.

Linda, thank you...the green one is a newbie, but the others have been around almost as long as I have....positively ancient. lol

Far Side, thanks, Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. We might even...although it isn't looking good lol
