Oooh! So beautiful! I can almost smell those grape flowers. Isn't it amazing the myriad shapes that flowers can take, all to accomplish the same pollination purpose?
dibear, thanks, they are blossoms on our winesap apple tree
Ed, thanks, it has indeed, and it was great to dust these off and enjoy them
joated, thanks, it won't be long now!
Dani, apple blossoms on our winesap tree
FC, brr! I just read of tomato crop devastation by frost in Mexico. sure has been a cold one
WW, my favorite scent in the whole world is wild grape flowers. And it is a delight and wonder what nature presents every day. All we have to do is watch. TV is wildly overrated.
Lori, we do indeed and thanks!
Lisa, thanks! Loved yours of the horses jumping
Janice, thanks, they say it is. Some days it is hard to believe. lol
MTWaggin, thank you and welcome to Northview. They are alliums, a relative of onions. I especially love blue ones, but can't seem to keep them going for more than one year
Cathy, close, blossoms on our standard winesap tree. Most years they are kinda plain white, but one year they were that amazing pink and white. That tree is such a gift. Housing for the birds, a trellis for the grapevine, lovely blooms and hard, tangy apples in fall. Happy spring to you too
Linda, thanks, same here!
Jeffro, winter is to be endured and so we do, but spring, that is another story., Thanks
Ericka, ditto and thanks. Guess we are in for the first real warm up since the cold set in. going to be some snow slides today I think
FW, thanks, close, they are alliums, which are a domestic relative of onions grown for their showy blooms. I like these, but my real love is the deep blue ones, which alas, seem to only winter for one year and then die out.
