Life on a family farm in the wilds of Upstate New York
I sure like them better stale!
Didn't know they could get stale. Never had them last that long once they came in the house. ;-)
@ Joated -The trick is to buy so many that the tail-end of the pile has a chance to 'age' like a fine wine.;-)
AH! YES! The only kind! OLD! The best!Lindahttp://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com
I buy them after the holiday and put them in the freezer. I like them in my hot chocolate, the extra sugar just makes the chocolate taste so good. The freeze well.
Lisa, yep!Joated, I never liked them, but stale they are just about edible. Liz however, is crazy about themCathy, lol, that would work. Liz buys them special to age themLinda, the only way I can stand them, although ellie k below has given me an idea I am going to try.Ellie, I am definitely going to try that. Sounds good!
I've always liked them better stale. But I never have understood the appeal of biting the head of a pretty pink peep LOL
ellie k is right. They do freeze well. But you lose a lot of the fun of the original. I'd rather just eat them stale, just makes them chewier.
