When They Said

That April showers bring May flowers....did they mean snow showers?

****Update-this is just plain overkill. The wind just blew the dog house away.

  2. I'll let you know, once Spring arrives. Oh, wait. We don't get spring. We have snow, then mud, then summer.

Never mind. I hope your snow neither sticks nor accumulates.

  3. Ayup. Snow off and on all day. I'm absolutely disgusted. In fact I was so ticked off that when I got home I ripped out the tree trunks of last year's cosmos that I thought I was going to have saw off. Nothing like good ol' anger to get things done.

  4. Okay, since you're getting high wind conditions, does that mean we're gonna get some rain?

  6. Holy Mother! Blew the dog house away? You're sure no one stole it?

  7. Lisa, yesterday was one of the nastiest days of the year for me...I guess because I kind of expect it to be nice in April. It sure wasn't

Rev. Paul, we usually get spring, which of course includes mud and sometimes snow. This year though it is acting kind of shy

Dani, yep, wind driven sleet and snow and yuckiness. Didn't stick, but it sure was nasty.

June, good for you! Maybe I should take my irritation out on all the left over whatchamacallits in the flower bed too. They are kinda like brown eyed Susans only tall and partly orange and they leave behind the unsightliest stalks!

Jeffro, well, I sure hope so!

Linda, it was headed due east right for town, but a big old wild rose bush caught it and stopped it.

Joated, it ended up in a rose bush to the east of its normal home...three times!! What a nasty day. I still haven't found the tarp off the woodpile.

  9. Ericka, you have to laugh...you just have to. As nasty as it was you should have seen little Keebler the Shuttle Cat being blown almost off her feet and turned sideways, but determined to run back and forth from the barn anyhow.
