I urge your guys to consider a Hornbeck canoe, super lightweight to carry off to hidden ponds or up mountains, and it paddles and handles like a kayak with its low freeboard and central low seat. They can see them at hornbeck.com.
June, thanks, it is kind of grainy because I just grabbed the camera and took it from the computer...
joated, thanks, Alan likes kayaking. I have never been but I love the canoe.
Rev. Paul actually a whole lot of kayaking goes on here too. lol
WW, I am going to take a look at them. Thanks. Actually the boss is afraid of the water and I don't think you would ever get him into one, but Alan loves kayaking. Myself I prefer the canoe. We have a big old Grumman, too big for wilderness, but great on the big lake.
A great picture.
ReplyDeleteYou could Photoshop that into a painting and stamp "Norman Rockwell" on it, and I bet it would sell!
An open kayak is almos the same as a canoe without the high profile that winds can catch.
ReplyDeleteAnd June is correct. That is very Norman Rockwell-ish!
Kayaks? Alaskan wannabes, maybe? :)

ReplyDeleteJune has that right!
ReplyDeleteAnd Alan looks like a young Harrison Ford :)
Oops! To see Hornbeck canoes, gotta go to hornbeckboats.com.
