Light of dawn, like silky smoke, slides in from all sides as if it has forgotten east.
Cats clamor. Sate them with kibbles.
Put out bird seed.
Dog dances, ear scratches,
Sunday morning silence on a Thursday in November.
Chores will soon be finished.
Rest and be thankful.
