Sunday Stills....the Color Green

Archives this week.  We are still locked in a world of ice and snow. The only green things around are my bathrobe and a few ragged house plants.

For more Sunday Stills........

  4. We're to receive 13" of snow in the next 36 hours, or so "they" say. The pictures of greenery are MOST welcome!

  5. Now, those are gorgeous pictures of a long long time ago, back when the earth was warm and sunny.

It seems like a hundred years ago since I've seen my shadow (or anyone else's). I know that when it's 97 and humid with sweat blurring your vision, I and everyone else will be complaining about the heat....

But for now - bring it on!
Thanks for the pics of a time long ago...

  14. Lisa, I know it is coming in my mind, but my feelings are having a real hard time believing it!

Caroline, we are a bit warmer than that, but way below normal. Ugh!

Dibear, thanks! I just love frogs. Can't wait to see and hear them

Rev. Paul, guess we are going to get nailed some time this week too, although it may miss us. Glad to be of service. lol

keith, you are so right! I am not a fan of extreme weather on either end of the scale. Our summers haven't been quite as hot as the rest of the nation lately. We seem to occupy a loop of chilly. I sure am ready for spring anyhow....I always am.

Tales, thank you so much! Such fond memories of summer....

Far side, thanks! hard to imagine summer right now, but it out there somewhere....I just know it is...

Eva, thanks! We are ready and waiting!

Linda, thank you. there wasn't much green around to shoot and we have been all taken up with worrying about Ralph's aunt so I just picked favorites from last year.

Cathy, lol, you mean the green polar fleece with the great big reindeer? Never happen. I use mine for a blanket sometimes too. it is big enough to go around me twice so it works quite well.

Dancing Donkey..I am so forgetful. In summer winter is unimaginable. In winter it is as if summer never was. Thanks..

Henry, thanks! I do love frogs!

  16. Your response to Dancing Donkey resonated with me . . It must be a very human perception. Even when I look at photographs of summer . . . it seems another land.
