Sunday Stills....Emergency Vehicles

Fultonville Fire Truck, as seen through the windshield.

This one was really a challenge for me. We can't see the road from up here much and I don't go much of anywhere. I actually took a special trip up to get feed with the boss to get pics, but we just didn't see anything. Normally there are plenty of emergency vehicles around here. However that day, there just weren't.

Which is fine with me really. When they are around, with the people who operate them doing their jobs, things are too scary to worry about photos pretty much. We had two upstanding and very helpful officers of the law in our barn driveway just last night.

Made us real late for milking. Some kids in  a Jaguar...yes, you read that right, a shiny, fancy doo-dah Jaguar, were parked up almost at the top of the barn driveway. They had climbed down the bank and were nosing around in the old house. Playing American Pickers I guess, only without the bother of speaking to the landowners first.

We don't care much about that old house. It is really just about gone. However, we have lost so much stuff to thieves over the past few years and the thought of the harm the fools could have done to themselves....we called the police and had them warned. The officers even searched their car....

I was way too nervous to even think of photos....except of their license plate, which is the first thing I always do when we have trespassers. Then if they abscond, we have a record. I was too nervous to even remember my own cell phone number. After all I never call it......

  5. dibear, to our surprise they came with lights and sirens, TWO of them. Usually trespassing calls are quite a lot more casual.

Ed, wish I had done better. Yours were great

    Eva, thank you

Wild Black, we put up a whole new set of posted signs yesterday, but they will still come.
