Back to the Grindstone
Yep, we are. Very hot week. I felt sorry for the folks who stayed here and kept the cows going and made hay all week. It was hot enough at camp and a lot hotter here.
So we went swimming a lot and slept a lot and avoided the news as much as possible. The boss had some serious trouble with trespassing hunters that I really fear isn't over yet.
And that's all folks. Back to unpacking.
Welcome back, I missed yourmposts.
ReplyDeleteUnpacking.
ReplyDeleteThe downside of vacation.
Still . . there's no place like home.
Lovely sunset picture.
I'm glad you didn't diminish its glow by listening to the news.
What Cathy said. Welcome back, just the same. :)
ReplyDeletePretty pictures. Love the sunset and clouds. How was the fishing?
ReplyDeleteNow you just need a vacation to recover!
ReplyDeleteEllie, thank you! I will try to get back to posting regularly
ReplyDeleteCathy, actually, we only get sunrises from where we camp and I only missed one all week....it was good to leave politics and drama behind, although a late week storm gave us quite a lot of the latter.
Rev. Paul, thank you sir, I am trying to adjust....
CDA, it was quite varied. Some folks caught a lot, and some of us...well, one of us...only caught one rock back. Some really nice small mouth bass were taken by others though.
Jeffro, or an escape hatch or something. I only swim or fish one week per year, being married to someone who has no interest in either. I am going through withdrawal just now.....
You chose some great days to be on/in a lake!
ReplyDeleteGetting back...the hardest part sometimes.
