click me to see a few of the river birds from Sunday |
There was a bat in the house yesterday afternoon. A big brown bat with an amazing wing span. It looked about the size of a robin as it swooped around the house, dive bombing my head. We caught it and let it go, but what the heck is up with that anyhow?
I guess he was looking for a warm, dry place to take a nap. :)
ReplyDeleteI am a lover and champion of bats...just not flying around my head. I would have totally freaked.
ReplyDeleteREv. Paul, he sure scared the heck out of me...not that I am terrified of bats or anything, but our lighting is not the greatest, and it was hard to see him until he was upon you....
ReplyDeleteJan, same here. I didn't let Alan kill him, although putting him out may have sounded his death knell....but he could hardly stay in.
I love bats, but I only love them in the air, outside, way above my head. Goodness that would have been a huge fright!
