It was eleven below when I got up and the kitchen faucet was frozen. Too cold to write, but they pay me so.....

Here are some of the stories I am reading for this week's Farm Side:
Horses to the rescue in Ireland
Floods threaten food security
Fellow farmers to the rescue
California dust bowl
River water allocation
Speaking of which....does anyone have a copy of last Friday's Recorder that they can spare? I forgot to remind the shoppers and they forgot to grab one and thus we do not have one....dang it. Thanks!
I love those pictures. -11 isn't much to write about up here, until the faucet and/or water lines freeze. Sorry to hear about that.
ReplyDeleteIce. Nice in pictures, but I hate it in my faucets.
ReplyDeleteWe've been dripping the faucet in the utility room for 2 weeks. Hopefully we can start taking running water for granted, again.
River ice...you know it's cold when fast running water freezes over!

Warm Florida thoughts your way... even though it's rainy cold here.
ReplyDeleteFlorida cold of course.
I get the difference.
Rev. Paul, it isn't really that cold for here either. It is more this long, long spell with no real warm up. the ice is nasty!
ReplyDeleteCathy, getting used to the thunder of icicles falling. Guess they are a sign of spring. Sigh
Linda, i have seen ours frozen much more extensively than it is this year, but I think that was because of greater snow falls. Sure is cold!
FC, thank you sir. i have threatened to head for your fair state about a thousand times this winter...preferably the Keys. LOL
