Northview Diary: Sunday Stills....Walking in a Winter Wonderland
Sunday Stills....Walking in a Winter Wonderland
These are from last winter, as we are still all green and brown here, which, btw is just fine with me.....
For more Sunday Stills......
Glad you included that last paragraph. I was getting jealous that you had SUN!
ReplyDeleteYeah, same here, every day it isn't frozen is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shots, I'm finally up too :-)
ReplyDeleteGrey and green/brown here. Like a camo jacket.
ReplyDeleteLove the snow shots!
Oh my friend ! Happy Solstice! The slide into darkness reverses. Bring on the snow . . 'cause Spring is just around the corner! ;)
ReplyDeleteOliver Herford's poem
I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December.
A magical thing
And sweet to remember.
"We are nearer to Spring
Than we were in September,”
I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December.
Green would be nice...we are all brown. I'll take brown over white. White in the mountains is okay...brown right here is okay!

Joated, we actually did have one sunny day. Felt so good!
ReplyDeleteNita, I will take every day of warmish weather. One less bit of frozen misery
Ed, thanks!
FC, thanks, we have had snow this winter, but it is gone. Can't say as I miss it although our boy, who has a new snowmobile, is less than pleased.
Cathy, thanks! Love the poem!
Linda, just the lawn, but it is good to look at.
