Peasant bread
Wearing your husband's clothes in multiple layers
Or, if you are a dog, dancing through it, radiating glee in all directions.

ReplyDeleteMmm, I can smell that delicious soup. And there's nothing like a dog's glee over snow to help us forgive its discomforts. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteWe keep our snow in the mountains. A few years ago we took our dogs to the mountains. They had about 30 seconds of experience with snow and spent the rest of the day pouting in the car.
ReplyDeleteI think I want to be a peasant at your house! That spread looks delicious and the extra layers of clothes look stylin'
ReplyDeleteSNOW! Playing in the snow is the best thing!

There is nothing like chicken soup on a cold day and homemade bread is the topping. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteMy husband has been sick and that's all he wanted was chicken soup., no canned stuff. Ut the real thing. Of course he could eat some kind of soup every day.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a great bowl of soup and bread!
ReplyDeleteCathy, sometimes..
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, it was amazing. And soon gone. Even Peggy enjoyed some mixed up with her sweet potato. The dogs do love the snow!
Jan, wish ours would head off to the mountains. The snow that is, not the dogs. lol
Nita, Liz makes that bread every day or so....it is really good.
Boomer, it is isn't it! Ren sure loves it.
Uta, thanks, we mostly are. Soup and bread is nice on a cold night like we've been having.
Ellie, oh, dear, poor guy! Hope he feels better real soon. This sure is the time of year when soup is good.
Lisa, sure thing!
