Ponies

Gambit
Jack

Yeah, Jack was invited onto the back porch for a short visit the other evening. Having pretty much seen it all, he was unimpressed. No hay here, ho, hum....

Peggy, however, who was sitting in her highchair nomming some supper, went wild, screaming with joy to see a horse....not quite, but almost....in the house.

She is her mama's daughter for sure.

The kids brought old Deranged Richard into the kitchen once when this was their grandma's house and they thought she wouldn't notice.....

  7. I found a blog and enjoyed the reading and thought you would like ir. It is called 'Adventures in Robotic Dairying". The man put in a robot system to milk his cows and is blogging step by step on the whole thing. Very interesting.

  8. AWWWW. . . . . just awwww . .. . so sweet and funny. Farm families have such rich lives. My bro-in-law as a kid DID ride his pony into the house. Yeah. He was ornery. Right up to the end.

  9. Nita, I wish I had gotten a shot of her! lol

Mom, they love you too...as do I!

Merri, I read it as darling. lol,

Lisa, thanks, but all the stalls are currently full. lol

Linda, it is one of my favorites of the girls when they were small. That pony was a devil, but they learned so much from him

Ellie, I am going to go take a look. Sounds very interesting. I have always found the robotic milkers to be fascinating. Thanks

Cathy, never dull! Would love to hear the whole story of the pony in the house. When I lived in the mountains my horse loved to put his front feet on the back steps to beg for bread. I don't think the cabin floor would have held him though.
