This is our house.
When we were kids we called it the haunted house...we didn't live there then, just went by on the school bus. I never met the boss til I was 30, though he lived on our bus route.
Nowadays, when we give directions we just say, "Look for the house that looks as if the Addams family lives there."

Cathy, I couldn't believe it. I am not a particular fan of these birds as they will attack young stock, but it was just too perfect to resist.

Linda, alas, the tower is a big, unfinished empty space rising out of the attic. Purely for looks and utterly without function or accessibility. You can't even look out the windows unless you are a giant or have a ladder. Sad.
