 Apple blossoms must be delicious, although I haven't tried them lately. Everybody seems to be eating them!

We have gone from not seeing Cedar Waxwings at all
to twenty or more in just this one tree.

    I haven't seen any cedar waxwings in a few years. I did watch a bluebird eating the petals of a crab apple the other evening. I thought maybe it was eating bugs that were in there? Doesn't look like bugs in that waxwings mouth though. I guess they do eat petals!

    Linda, they never fail to astonish me in their elegance. They do eat a lot of fruit though. lol

    Wendy, I don't know what they get from the petals, but we have several species eating them methodically. Maybe they are sweet?

    I found that our crab-apple does have blossoms but they are way up at the top. Mom
