I suspect the "no trespassing" sign was posted by some tree-hugging, bark-munching, anti-hunting PETA member to make a political statement. Used to see similar things back in Missouri.
ReplyDeleteRev. Paul, we have them here, but I think this was hunters. The whole road is a series of seasonal hunting camps, posted from end to end, and this appeared to be an extension of the posted area of one of them. It is a nice road to bird, desolate, wooded, and wild. However, we always meet a few vehicles on this one-lane, rutted, unpaved, bumpy little lane, and they always contain hostile folks. We backed up a great distance to a snow plow turn around to let some guys go by the other day and they glared at us like we stole their birthdays. Nice folks....lol
