Shirley, oddly enough we came down that same bit of road the other day and turkeys were crossing right where those geese were photographed. We have been seeing a lot of turkeys the past couple of weeks. The dry summer must have been good for a successful hatch. Hope you had a lovely holiday, thanks
It's still Christmas for Catholics, so I'm still wishing Christmas greetings to all on this New Year's Eve. Hope your holiday was all you hoped it might be, surrounded by those you love, and in good health and strength to make it through the winter (which I know is not your favorite season!). I haven't been by your blog in way too long, as I neglect my own these days, feeling every one of my 80 years, so I don't get outdoors as often as I once did. But when I come back here, I realize how much I've missed ambling along with you and enjoying your marvelous accounts. Hope to come by again real soon! Happy New Year!
Jacqueline, thank you so much for visiting. Christmas and New Year wishes to you and yours as well! I always treasure your thoughtful comments, so thanks for that as well.
Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I bet those geese are happy that it's no longer Christmas Goose for dinner! (Sorry, turkeys!)
ReplyDeleteAurora, hope you had a wonderful day, thanks
