Get up at five and be out soon after.
Make your bed. (The fact that he made his doesn't necessarily mean that I made mine....not that there is much making to do in this weather....just smooth out one thin blankie and call it perfect. I will let him enjoy his leaves without a shred of jealousy.)

Thanks, Rev. Paul, I very much enjoy taking them.
ReplyDeleteEarly mornings are the best. Today we were blessed to see the 2 Blue Herons and a Bald Eagle.
ReplyDeleteI saw a bird a couple of weeks ago that I couldn't identify. It was about the size of a robin, maybe a bit smaller and not as chubby looking. Seemed to be dark grey or black with a tail that was straight across and looked like it had been dipped in white paint for about an inch. The head was definitely black. It also seemed to have a wing bar and possibly a streak on it's cheek. It was hard to tell because I wasn't close enough to see clearly and of course didn't have my good camera. Got a couple of crappy cell phone pics. I can post it if you think you might be able to recognise it.
