Roadside Friends and Acquaintances
Peaceful Puppers
I think this guy would have come right in the window, if he could fit.
These ladies were munching at a hay feeder when we encountered them while counting birds. As soon as they saw the car their heads came up and they looked with great interest When we paused to chat with their owner they ambled right up. Friendly ladies indeed
All those interested faces. I sure miss having a dog. Those mares look like mine when they see the lights go on in the house in the morning. "Oh look, she's up, we want oats and hay please!"
Shirley, LOL, I'll bet they do! These mares were amazing. We crested a hill in the car going very slow, as we were watching for birds. They caught my eye because...horses! Pretty ones!...and I watched as they immediately turned their heads to watch us. We stopped to count some Dark-eyed Juncos and their owner came out to see what we were up to and to chat. He was a real pleasant fellow. By the time the juncos were listed the mares were at the fence looking eagerly for attention. Sure made me smile! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
