I love the craftmanship in antiques. It seems like a lost art in these days of Mass Production As Cheap As Possible. We enjoy the tv show Restored which shows restoration of houses from 100 years (or more) ago. Such artistry.
Shirley I am with you on antiques, but then I grew up in an antique and book shop. The craftsmanship in this old house is incredible. We had some roof work done some years ago and the contractor didn't know what kind of wood was in the beams, but the water leaking in hadn't damaged it at all. I feel blessed to live here
