More flooding
We are finally back in the modern world after 36 hours stranded by closed roads and no power. There is a street under this water, as well as a playground and two parking areas. As bad as it is here, there are many places who had much worse damage.
Hi, I am grateful you were thinking of us. We were SO isolated, couldn't get anywhere at all because the flooding was so extensive. A lot of people had some awful losses. The river has only gone down a little and there is so much more rain possible tonight.
Whew! Glad to hear from you! The situation really looks pretty bad, and I'm sure the coming days won't be a picnic.
