Beautiful picture. What kind of camera are you using? Can't believe that sunflower has not been already been chewed up by the birds and squirrels. They destroy all my sunflowers before the seeds can fully ripen.
Hi Karen, Thanks, It is a Canon A 520, fairly cheap and quite versatile. I love it! Now if I could just remember not to leave it in the bookcase at camp, while there is a bald eagle soaring by.
Sunflowers are amazing. My grandson planted one last year in kindergarten and we transplanted into a corner of the yard. We had many visits from the birds and the bees.
This year we have a virtual forest of sunflowers coming up in that corner. He thinks he is a master planter.

Very pretty! It's nice to see something living - everything here is drying up and blowing away...
We have all your water. Sorry, we are trying to send it back if all those dange politicains would just cooperate. Thanks for the kind words.

Jan, that is so cute! The one in the picture came up from seeds from last year's plants too.
