Herd of collies

*Mike, Nick and Gael. The slightly stunned expression on Mike's face is because Nick, the rowdy dog, has just run into him and knocked him down.

I can see the mischief in Nick's eyes.
What a tail plume Mike has ... he must be very proud.

This is a wonderful picture.

I bet Nick is a real barrel of laughs.

Looking at your dogs makes me want to chant, "Baa, ram, ewe, baa ram, ewe... to your flock be true..."

I had a border collie for 14 years when I was growing up. What a great dog he was. They're so smart!

Hi FC, Yeah, Nick is a real party boy. If he doesn't get a couple hours outdoors every day there is no living with him
Hello, Joshua and thanks for visiting. Nick is my teenaged son's dog and they are quite a pair.
Thanks Cubby, they were having a fine time.
Hello Dustin, glad to have you stop by. I love border collies too, they are a lot of dog.
Hi Rurality, yep that is where the threecollie thing came from. they were originally all my dogs, but Nick now belongs to our son and Gael to our daughter. Thanks
Hi dmmm and thanks. They are a lot of fun. Never a dull moment around here.

Nothing like a real frosty morning to get the canines fired up. It was about 20 degrees, a real crackly/frosty crispness to everything at 5:30 this morning as I took the pooch out for a walkabout in the gloaming. I swear that Willow the Wunderhund chased a skunk up a tree this morning without getting sprayed, although the critter was some old P.O.'d about the indignity of being forced to flee!

Hey there wil, lucky there on the skunk outcome! That could have been oh, so different. lol
This long, slow fall has kept a lot of critters around. Alan got that big deer and that very night some other deer came right up to the back porch about three feet from the door and ate up all the lettuce I have growing in a container garden there. I guess revenge is sweet and so was my fall lettuce mix. lol
