Menu Foods has been ordered by a judge to cease contacting pet owners, sometimes by automated calls, who have retained legal representation. Nice folks Menu. They are said to have known about the contamination long before it became public and now they are badgering those who lost pets to agree not to hire a lawyer.

PASS IT ON EVERYONE WHO OWNS STOCK IN MENU OR ITS SUBSIDIARY OR PARENT COMPANIES NEED TO SELL IT OFF. THIS WILL DRIVE THE VALUE OF THE COMPANY DOWN AND GET THEIR ATTENTION
Typical corporate behavior when the lawyers get involved and the circling of the wagons has begun.
While mkg is right that a sell off will get the company's attention, it will also garner notice with the power brokers on Wall Street. Turn that company into a hot potato and there won't be any assets inside of two months to satisfy awards that won't even be made until after a couple of years of litigation.
I wish I could say I'm surprised that they knew beforehand, or that I'm surprised that they are harassing owners of pets harmed by the tainted food, but I'm not.
It's just another case of corporate greed and corruption. I hope the pet owners take them to the cleaners.
We are just beginning to understand the dangers of depending too much on China for too many things we rely on...like food and credit.
We should all think about it and try to get more food from local producers.
Hi MKG, thanks for visiting and taking time to comment
Wil, thanks, I agree with your thought on the effect on the company
Laurie, now China is saying that the US is to blame
Mojoman, I am beginning to agree and also to try to grow more right here. We are so busy it is hard to find extra time, but still, besides knowing where our food came from, it is so much better. Thanks for visiting.
