Too many peppers

Not enough pepper people***

***I grew a nice mess of hot peppers for the kids this summer. They eat them. We don't.
However, there are a whole slew hanging out on the clothesline waiting for someone to decide what to do with them. Anybody want to make some salsa or something?

Take them up to the open doorway of the hay mow and dry them in the sunlight (cover at night to keep the dew off) and "the kids" will be able to use them for years...

Thanks Wil, I have never had them before so I didn't know what to do with them.

No thanks! I don't care for the hot ones. My husband (a rural post carrier) keeps getting them from customers! LOL... I am drying what we have and chopping them up, to add to soups and stews later. Don't know what else to do with them, as I can't handle eating them.

Get thee to Pure Florida!

Mrs. M. can't bear em, although they are pretty enough. go to Pure Florida for a relish recipe...maybe you could give it away for Christmas. lol

FC, I did and had a good laugh. Must be the season. I am hoping that if the kids don't do something with them pretty soon, somebody local who reads this and likes hot peppers will give me a call.
