Today we loaded Promise for a one way trip to Dependabul to be drawn. From there he will be sold.
He didn't want to go. Luckily no one was hurt, but I do not EVER want to do that again. No more bulls, no way, no how. No thank you.

Ah, but it's just fun to talk about after the fact!
Linda, This is very true....you and your husband were mentioned while we were trying to rope the bugger. I told the guys how you roped a cow out the truck window and worked her. We couldn't even rope this guy in a little pen...not our field of expertise I guess. I am sure you would have laughed at our efforts.
It all scared the heck out of me...but he is gone now and I guess I won't be missing him. lol
And just think, I want to keep Mandy's calf even if it is a bull. However, I promise (pun intended) that if I do, he won't stay past 15 or 16 months!
Um, yeah, paints, just say your prayers for a heifer. lol I will!
Oh boy! You should have video taped that for all of us to see.
Tim, I thought about taking pictures, but I needed my hands free for the shotgun...just in case. Glad we didn't need it, but I wanted to have it there.
