He looks way too comfortable. Is that a hot spring???

Never a good idea to feed your frogs beans before a swim.

I'm not sure which of your blogs to read and comment on. They're all great and I love the photos!

Is your garden pond difficult to maintain? What happens to the fish in the winter?

Nita, thank you!

Jinglebob, and thank you too

akagaga, he does, doesn't he? It probably is at least warm, since it is just the garden pond and it sits in the sun most of the day

FC, oh, dear, is that what is going on there?

aussie O, thanks so much!

Lidian, thanks, and thanks for visiting and commenting!

STeve, thanks he was actually UNDER the water garden photo when I first ran inside for the camera and his funny little face was peering out, all distorted by the water. By the time I ran back out with the camera he had moved outside it a bit. Still I was lucky to get what I did

Jan, thank you. I am actually thinking of putting a set of pics together and entering them in the fair...probably won't win as there are a lot of very talented photographers around here, but it will be fun to try.

Deb, he does, doesn't he? Sure is hot!

Martha, thanks, any one you want to is great...this one is kind of home port, where most stuff is going on. NV photos is for my extra pics and Garden Records is just stuff about plants.

The pond does take some maintanance, but it really doesn't feel like work...more like pleasurable puttering. I have been wintering the fish outdoors, but the past two winters have been rough on them. I am watching Craigslist for a cheap large fish tank to put them in the house this year.
