***Top one is untouched...added light to the bottom two, to make the photo look like the sky actually did last night when Lizzy and I came home....

Wow, I'm the first!
Gorgeous pictures of the moon! The other night, there was a little cloud around the moon and it was in between to jet contrails, and would have mad an excelent picture, but the camera wouldn't focus completetly on the moon because there wasn't enough ligt. But every picture of the moon is prettty!
Love the photos of the moon. My little digital just doesn't have the capacity to capture such pretty shots.
I'm researching new cameras with a stronger zoom lens - any recommendations? I have a b-day coming up...I'm dropping big hints around here :)
Wow, very nice pics. Especially the bottom two. Geeze, wish I could do that.
Anyhoo, DEB you can get a incredible p/s with optical zoom of up to 12x but make sure the sensor is good enough to give you some good prints. Canon and Sony are very nice but you really need to heft a few to see how they feel and work and if you like them. Test a few out in a shop and pick your favorite.
Sorry 3C to jump in like that but new toys are such a thrill!!!!!

Aussie O, thanks, I am not too good at night shots, but it was incredibly pretty out that night
Deb, thanks, Steve, knows his stuff and you can see his answer below. I love the camera I am using so much that I can't imagine going a day without taking pictures. it is a canon powershot s3. It makes up for everything I do wrong, which is really saying something.
Steve, thanks.
And you are better than I will ever be. lol
Thanks for the good tips for Deb too
I agree, there is nothing like camera fun.
Matt, good luck. I can't wait to hear about your adventures!
Love you!
