Still another day
Does anyone know this guy?
Cows did terrible...worst show ever. Fonda has always been a tough show, but wow, the judge sure hated our cows. At least Hazel won her class. Ouch.....we still love them though. And after all, we do this for fun, right?

Sorry to hear that, looked great from here. Thanks for the tour of the fair.
paintsmh, your cows looked awesome as did your barn :) That's the problem with judging - you just can't please everyone. As long as you were happy, thats all that mattered.
Aussie O, thanks, it's fine. We have a good joke planned over it anyhow. The judge kept saying that our herd lacked quality, so the next time we get a real nice heifer calf we are going to name her "Quality". Then he can never say that again. lol

sometimes you have to wonder about the judging.
Well at least he consistently dislikes my cows! Only the third or fourth time we've shown under him.

Nita, thanks, comes with the territory I guess, although we usually do quite a lot better.
Paints, I can only remember one other time, but that was just as painful and we came home muttering if I remember correctly
deb, thanks...we have lots of yellow and green ribbons anyhow. lol
Sorry to you didn't win, better luck next year!
