I bet those are some of the same geese that went by here yesterday. I've never seen so many together. It was wave after wave, and they were flying very low. I felt like I could have reached up and touched them. It took a good five minutes for them all to go by. And LOUD!

Ahhh, we just don't get much of that here.

Hey, go to Rurality's blog today and see the cow!

What a great show nature puts on for you in the evenings.

I especially like the geese! Really says "fall" to me.

Now, don't laugh, but can you tell me if the "heart cow" is actually a cow or a bull? I can't really tell from that distance!

Teri, I got these while I was walking the dogs before heading over to milk. lol

I LOVE your New York! We too have geese, they stay the night in the sweet corn field, when I get up to put wood on the fire I go outside so I can hear them rustling about.

Always love your photography! Some times I think you must have a better view in Upstate! Thanks for the comment on my santas. The gun's have been quite quiet here so far this year.

Linda, there seem to be fewer of them now. Wonder if the cold has driven them on south....thanks for your kind words

WW, Only a few hunters here so far but one climbed right over the fence, right next to a posted sign to have a shouting match with my husband....and I love your Santas, thanks for your kind words.
