"Why are you taking pictures of them and not of me???"
****Each and every one of these photos was taken yesterday in the course of a what-passes-for-normal day's activities here at the home of Frieland Holsteins and Maqua-kil Jerseys and Holsteins....and of assorted somewhat less dignified animals.

You gotta love those critters - on the worst of days they can make you smile! all your photos are great but I love the dog/bucket one the best :)
Love these pics! My favorite is, of course, the kitty's nose.
I have chicken envy!!
TOO, Funny! Thanks for sharing...
By the way what was in the bucket to begin with?
Re: the rooster - I generally got pecked.
Woohoo! I can finally comment on Blogger!! Great pcitures, no tell me, How did the dog get out of that or was he hauling water for y'all?
I'm out of practice and my spelling is horrible!
roscoe is going to kill himself one of these days.
Mr Fluff...wonderful Mr Fluff...handsomest rooster in the whole world...
As cold as it is I'm surprised Roscoe didn't have company! How the heck did the dog manage that? LOL Thanks for sharing their antics.
Such great photos!! Love the one of the dog (of course ;)) and the cat's nose. Thanks for sharing. :)
The noses have it.... Great post, great pics as always.
I love Mr Kitty....
I love the cat nose the best, as I've seen this view in the morning when it's time for breakfast.
Deb, they keep life interesting when everyting else is going wrong. I guess Mike thought he needed to carry a lunch pail or something. He had a little food in that bucket and the next thing I knew the girls were hollering for me to bring the camera. lol
Kristen, that was serendipitous. I was photographing the fish and he jumped up into the philodendron to kibitz.
Dani, that silly bird is like a poodle or something. loves to be carried and fooled with
WW, thanks, just a little dog food I think
Jeffro, see answer to Dani. A friend gave him to Liz and he has no concept of being a chicken. He does live in the chicken house though. I don't know why Becky lugged him down to the house.
Linda, I am so glad that you can comment again! He is just a silly old guy. After I took his pic, I just took the pail off for him. He was quite grateful
Alan, he isn't doing the pond heater any good either.
Paints, hmmmm
Apple, the cats sit on the heater and dip their paws down in the center hole...whether trying to fish or dipping up a drink I don't know...it is pretty funny.
Andrea, thank you so much! Just lucky shots
Ed, thank you....just stuff happening around the house while I was trying to get my work done. lol
Anon, yeah, don't we all
J9, thanks so much, he does get that nose into everything if he can!
The Mike pic is priceless. That one made my week. Wow, you got the kitty nose like a pro. I'm jealous.
Steve, thanks, it made for a really funny pic, but I am real glad we were inside when he got himself stuck in there. He probably would have gotten out okay as he is a pretty smart guy, but it is good that he had rescue right close at hand
love the dog with the bucket necklace and the kitty nose.
You made me laugh and laugh...thank for this cheerful and funny post!

MML, thanks, the animals were sure in a strange mood that day
Linda, thanks!
YES YES YES! I'm with you with these photos...kisses to Mr. Fluff. And it's the norm for farm beasts (obviously, dogs included) to get stuck in buckets, eh? :)
Teri, anything they can do to drive you crazy.......lol
