Green
I grew this wheat as a favor to the cat. He was not interested. I tried it on the dogs. No dice.
However, when I snipped a handful off with scissors, you could smell the scent of new mown lawn.....and it was all worth it. You can't imagine what a shock it is to the senses to smell grass in this season...wrong but in a good way.
And I wish these tiny little sunrise cacti would get growing. They seem to just sit there .....and sit there....and sit there....I planted some assorted aloe seeds I bought from Pinetree Garden Seeds yesterday, so we will see what they do.
My feline just flipped when he saw the wheat grass. LOVES the stuff. Sure does grow fast though, doesn't it? Had to get seed because he mows through it so fast. Maybe you could bring it to the calfateria for a quick treat.
I would love to smell fresh cut grass right about now! This snow just smells, COLD! and it stinks! Then in August, Ill be complaining about the lawn growing to fast, full circle, but it always beats snow..
AHHHH... The green, green, grass of home, even if it is wheat. Don't worry about the cactus, when in Arizona I learned cactus grow slow, the Saguaro only grows about an inch a year.

Pinetree Gardens has such a great selection to choose from.
You'll have to let us know how the Aloe seeds do.

Seriously someone should put the scent of a new mown lawn in a spray or candle.
Got Green?
