This kind of thing
Slows you down a little and makes indoors look good. This was a couple of days ago. It was supposed to be nice, but instead snowed so hard you could barely see the top of the heifer pasture hill.
This is a fraction of a huge wheel of gulls that was swirling over the heifer barn last night. It was so cold I couldn't seem to get good pics, but you can get an idea of how it was.
That kind of thing makes me shiver and be glad I live further south than you.
ReplyDeleteBrrrrrrr is all I've got to say! It was downright chilly this morning.
ReplyDeleteSnow coming in tonight and more cold - I'm ready for a vacation somehwere south :) Stay warm!
Your tougher than me, brrrr. Ours is all gone now, thank heavens. Just keep thinking spring...and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you rejoice so much at spring's arrival.
ReplyDeleteSheesh!
Holy Moly that's a lot of snow! Warm thoughts, warm thoughts.....
ReplyDeleteWeren't you just taking froggy and water garden pics not too long ago?
ReplyDeleteIt's the same this morning!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks crazy cold! I wouldn't think there would be birds left up there.
ReplyDeleteJeffro, I am glad for you that you do. It has already been quite a winter and it has barely begun
ReplyDeleteDeb, you folks seem to get even more than we do so I shouldn't complain...we are talking about southern climes here at Northveiw too....anywhere warm. lol
Nita, you folks have sure had your share too this winter...hang in there!
FC, kind of overkill isn't it? All I can say is thank God for houseplants and indoor gardening!
The Wife, thank you, warm thoughts are exactly what is needed!
Steve, I was in fact doing so...and yesterday while searching for a picture I know I have, but never did find, I enjoyed looking at a bunch of 'em. Was it ever really warm? Green? Flowery?
Teri, mostly stopped here. I am sewing like crazy finishing Christmas projects which are due at noon.....
Dani, there are some but I miss the robins and summer ones.
Lets see, today is the 12th of January, we have several more weeks of this.... ugh! Brrr!
ReplyDeleteStay warm. I love your new header.
