Cuban Agriculture vs. the USA

Carpe Diem has some interesting information comparing agriculture in Cuba to that in the good old US of A. Let me tell you...right now we have it good, but that could change and fast.
Here is the whole story. Read it and be afraid....

What does this have to do with the USA? Read this one.

Liked the articles a lot. Especially the one that pointed out thatthe Cuban Government consistently reneges on any deals they make with semi-capitalist Countries. And that nobody with any sense trusts ANY statistics the Cuban Government provides on Agricultural Effeciency or anything else.

Prop 2 is nuts but I bet it will pass. Hopefully it won't spread east.

Troll, it was interesting as heck, wasn't it? I read every update on Carpe Diem, as he finds some amazing stuff.

Apple, I found the map very telling. States where there used to be easy access to constitutional referendums tightened up the rules after the animal rights folks got at them....sadly, too late!

Here, Here, your so right about the Legacy of Prop 2! As for the Cubans, could we expect anything less of their government. We are headed down the same road if we don't get hold of what animal rights activists have before Congress this year. Unfortunately we have another year before the next election!

Texas, thanks for stopping by and commenting. I am becoming very discouraged lately by things like Prop 2. People know nothing about animals or farming or food production, but they are all activists just the same.
