I can see the reasoning behind this, but it feels wrong and intrusive. Even if you are upfront and honest in your dealings it just has a snoopy feeling about it.

It's like being audited without cause. The government gets more intrusive with each passing day.
It's like with American Community Survey and the Census. I refuse to answer any questions other than name, age, and amount of people who live here. They don't need to know any of those other questions. Pisses them off, but I don't care.

Pretty much everything, as far as I'm concerned.
JW, what is going on I think is that they want to do away will all farm programs that benefit farmers. This is just another way to get that done. They make a big whoop about subsidies, but they are not much and not easy to get. Good for you on the census thing.
