Lisa, I couldn't live without it. Wish it worked in the titles, although my titular misspellings have led to some interesting hits from searches. It was an amazing night that night!

Jeanelle, thanks for the idea!

FC, thanks, I was so amazed. We had come in from the night and I happened to glace out the window. I exclaimed to Alan, "That one is worth running outside for". He agreed and we did.

JB, thanks

Dani, thank you as well

Sara, I find myself looking up a lot. There have been some spectacular views to the upward!

June, did you have a real bad storm? We got a bit last night, but to the east of us lightning blew a hole in a slate roof and started a fire. Our fire dept and half a dozen others were called on it.

Tawny, thanks, it is great to be able to enjoy the sky and the landscape around us. A free lifelong show of great beauty.

The storm passed us by, as they often do. They usually go north of us; this one passed by on the south. I was kind of sorry. I like thunder and lightning, and I was looking forward to a show!

...pretty sure I wouldn't like a hole blown in my roof, though...

Hi June, thanks for visiting. If we are right the building that was damaged is a very old one that had never been hit before. I usually feel safe in old buildings that haven't been hit, but I guess the lightning missed its usual pattern or something. Sure has been wet!
