Water, water, everywhere

Here is Cameo drinking from the big girl water tub.
(The wire is over the window and really no where near her. I am just too short to miss it in the frame.)

It's wet!

There are times when we are glad of our hills....at least, although haying is shut right down until it dries up a bit, we are not under water like folks in the story above.

We got a lot yesterday though. Driveways washed again. I was thinking I needed to top up the garden pond...uh, not so much....

Deer in the headlights look.

Another milking shorthorn/Holstein cross,
this time a bull, which will be steered and raised for beef.

*******Keep those names coming! Getting some real great ones!

Rain!! Gosh having too much is just as bad as not enough. Weather is just a major factor in farming. One most people don't understand.

Fred, So much down here that it flooded our job site last nite. We have been useing 3"X 10" X 12' oak planks to keep the drill out of the muck. One floated about a block away down the street. LOL.
Love ya

Lisa, he is just a wild man. lol Getting all excited about Cobleskill "sunshine" fair. (We are wondering where they are going to find any sunshine this year.)

MSW, thank you!

Linda, how I wish we could. The guys were getting a good run at finishing up first cutting (half a month late). Raining again today too

LInda, sure has come into play the last two summers for us. Nothing but rain, rain and more rain.

Matt, that is terrible. Talk about overkill.
Love you!
