Thank you Marianne this was beautiful in so many ways. Being born and bred in coal country and coming from a very long line of coal miners this video to me is like going home. I miss my momma and that little ole hollow that she lives in. I'm gonna go call her now and tell her how much I miss and love her.
Dani, I am so glad you enjoyed it. A non-blogging friend put it up on his Facebook page and I couldn't resist posting it...I have just recently become a big fan of Steve Earle, as my brother happened to send me a CD a while back with one song that I fell in love with, Dixieland. Now I have a whole bunch more. He also sent me the music to Dixieland so I need to get busy and learn to play it. Hope your mom is doing well and you have a great visit with her. Take care.
