This gave me a chuckle, but it is quite true. The farming games are a lot of fun and I play them too, but they are pretty far removed from reality (which is fine...they are games after all.)

That was awesome!
HEY in FarmVille's defense... their dairy prices are about right on with prices this year... awful! LOL
On the serious side, a lot of truth. I would like to make a true to life farming game. Like land on "100 year ice storm lose power for 14 days, costs you X amount of $$$).
I don't say 'thank you' enough.
I can't say 'thank you' enough.
I don't game, but my kids love farmville.
i enjoy it also
Lisa, it satisfied an itch I've had. I like the games, but the total lack of attention to reality kinda, sorta annoys me. lol
Pablo, this may in fact be true....
Sara, I admit to being barely able to figure out how to play it...which is pretty sad, isn't it?
I like your idea of a real game...we need a programmer to help write one. We could have a lot of fun with it!
Jan, lol
FC, amazing how many folks play it. Makes me feel kinda dumb as I am terrible at it....can't get into it I guess
anon, it sure is popular
Just wanted to say thanks for posting our Farmville video! (I'm the Alliance's Communications Coordinator.) Glad you enjoyed it. : ) Let me know if you think of other fun video ideas and keep up the great ag blogging!
Sarah, wow, thanks for visiting. I love the farm games on FB, but your video scratched an itch I have had about how incredibly unrealistic they are. If only we really made money that easily. Keep up the good work with your organization.
