Honey Locust
The boss, Alan and I finished the heifer pasture fence yesterday. Besides cutting a lot of wild rose bushes and looking for a short that we never found, there was much to see.

It's a great time of the year to be out walking the lines. As you said, there is so much to see. The desire to investigate makes it a wonder any work gets done.
We see the same things, you capture them beautifully.
Don't you just hate it when you know something is off and you can't find it?!
Love the pic's... except the Honey Locust... they are in full bloom here and about make me ill with the scent and all... Thankfully no HL headaches so far this year.

Steve, you are so kind...thank you! And I thank you! The camera is going adventuring today...who knows what it will see?
Great pictures....I have some of the same violets in my garden...we call them bog violets and of course I have to coddle the to keep them alive. I love the lily!
LInda, thanks, I had never seen these pale, solid blues before. If I had had time I would have brought some down for the garden, but alas we were on the fly that day. I love the little trout lilies too...that woods is full of them and I was tickled to happen to be out there when they were in bloom.
TC. I'd say there's quite a bit of magic in that camera of yours, too!
The heifer pasture looks enchanted. What lovely, lovely country.
Cathy, I love that camera...someone who sometimes reads this blog gave it to me a few years ago and it opened up the world for me. I love telling stories, and illustrating them is icing on my cake.
