I love how he wrote his experience on the dairy farm with child like wonderment...more journalist need to find the fun in their work...not just the negative! (I didn't like the Kirstie Alley comment so much either though I admit I giggled for a second)
DairyG, I just loved the story. There has been so much hoked up negativity, so much preaching, so much panic and pain. Yet, this young man told the story in a manner that was hilarious to those of us who live in the industry, but I think non-farmers could relate in a positive way as well. I think he will go far as a journalist. I thank you so much for posting the story! (And I think Kirstie lets herself in for such stuff......I laughed unabashedly)

Awesome story. Funny and well written too! My wife didn't care for the Kirstie Alley comment, but I thought it was hilarious!
Loved it! Thanks for pointing the direction.
I may have to see what else this young man has written. (Sort of a local "Dirty Jobs" article that's informative as well as humorous.)
Paul, I really enjoyed the young man's upbeat and honest approach to the dairy farm. And I laughed too.
joated, I found it very refreshing. Not a bit preachy, just honest and fun.

That was a wonderful read.
That picture of the sun is incredible!
Cathy, thanks, my pic doesn't really do the sunrise justice. Some very pretty mornings this fall.
