Oh my! Scary but kind of humorous at the same time. It was a 14 inch zucchini - must have stung a bit.
I read that article in our local paper today! That was some zucchini!
cTG, when I think of holding off a ticked off bear with a squash I tremble. I have a lot of admiration for that amazing lady!
TheWife, indeed, I am so glad that she is okay. Hope the dog is too.
Bears scare the he** out of me.
I couldn't live in an area where I couldn't step outside at night (to admire the moon) for fear of bears.
Cathy, same here. We used to see them close by when I lived in the mountains and it was not a comfortable thing. So far it is rare to see one near us and I like it that way.
