Paul has a Poem
Paul at Salt Creek Life has the nicest poem about the season that I have read in a good long while. It had me smiling and reading out loud. Go read...enjoy.

Can I just say that it's not very nice to show off your grapes to those of us who are grape growing challenged? :) Of course I'm kidding... well not about the being grape growing impaired... Love this pic's. I can almost taste juice, jelly, and the like...
Hey, Thanks for the Shout Out! I was a little surprised myself when I found a poem I liked so much.
Thanks for pointing the way to Paul's poem. Sure fits the season...and my thoughts about it.
And I've got to agree about the grape pictures you've posted this week. Beautiful, seasonal, sensory stimulating...and unfair! ;-)
WW, thank you! The sun was spotlighting the grapes so neatly. I had to hustle in for the camera
Linda, it tickled me...so perfect.
Sara, sorry about that. Now if I can just get them down out of the tree to make jelly with them
Paul, I really, really liked the poem!
Joated, I liked the poem a lot
And thanks for the kind words on the grapes. They looked so pretty with the sun lighting them up. Now to get them down out of the apple tree they grow on. The full-sized, really tall, bushy apple tree. lol
You have to be versed a bit in country things to fully appreciate this poem.
And it is a fine, fine poem.
Cathy, I loved it..turkey season and goose season is just beginning...pumpkins for sale...apples...all the good stuff
