My heart just breaks every time I read one of these stories. I just don't understand why all of America isn't up in arms about what is happening to our farmers.

SCMomma, it is getting so bad...and it will simply be too late before anything is done about it. The USDA is trumpeting all over the place how farming is leading the economic recovery...well yeah, corn prices are dragging other grains higher and higher because of ethanol, which is heavily government subsidized. If you are growing livestock and feeding them corn you are actually getting hurt by that. It is nuts...
